Where to Explore  - Ibiza, Spain

Ibiza is obviously known for being the party capital of the world. But what you might not know is there are amazing things to do during the day that will round out your overall experience here. I am talking about stuff that you really remember and things you say were some of the greatest highlights of your trip.

The hidden beaches and islands in and around Ibiza are some of the most beautiful sands in the world. Just picture this - a remote beach, filled with local people hanging out, with the sound of some drummer beating to the ocean, all while some insanely hot chic makes you a fresh caipirinha out of her backpack. Cant picture this...... well then get off your butt and GO do this!!

Formentera Island

Go Explore - Our Top 3 MUST SEE.

Have you ever been somewhere before and thought.. this cant be real? That is what I thought of the second I saw this place. The beaches of this island are the main attraction. Beautiful white sandy beaches, azure seas, laidback luxury, these are what dreams are made of...

...and Formentera doesn't disappoint; all the beaches on Formentera are natural and nearly always set within an unspoiled landscape with locals and  So what will you find.

Total Time Investment

This will take about 6 - 7 hours... but SO worth it. you will be on the beach for about 4.5 hours of this so just go do it!!

How to Get There

You will take a ferry out to this island. It takes about 25 minutes but the whole process give yourself an hour. You can catch the ferry in the town of Ibiza and make sure you get there before noonish. The ferry is about $25 US per person. Don't worry they sell beer on the ride.

Getting Around

Right when you get off the boat you will run to rent a scooter. It is the only way you can really experience the island. There should be vendors/shops right of the boat that can help you with this. Grab a map and just follow the beach line and start exploring!!!

Playa Illetes

This is THE beach you've been searching for! White sand stretching for ages with incredibly clear turquoise waters - both giving that Caribbean feeling the island is famous for. This beach attracts a real mix of people; daytrippers from Ibiza, the rich and famous stopping by in their expensive yachts and locals topping up their tan at the weekend.

At around 9 pm each evening as the sun goes down and sets fire to the most stunning sunsets to a backdrop of ambient and electric music by some of the world’s hottest DJs. You will find a lot of Ibiza locals and Brits visiting on this side of the island.

Total Time Investment:
San Antonio is a day trip worth taking. You can stay the night there and there are a tone of options but for us we say just day trip it.

How to Get There:
You can grab a cab if you don’t want to deal with lines – it is 15 – 20 minutes away and could cost you about 30 Euro. Alternatively you can catch a bus or Disco Bus from the main bus station in Ibiza. The Red Line San Antonio – is a party on wheels and a fun way to get around. Either bus ride will cost you about 3 euros.

Where to Head:
The most famous of all locations in San Antonio is the sunset strip. The Sunset strip is undeniably one of San Antonio's most talked about landmarks and definitely worth a visit. Walk around the town but get to a good spot by 4 pm so you don’t miss out on the day to night activities. The stunning sunsets are set against a backdrop of the brilliant blue sea and enhanced by DJ sets from world class DJ's.

Find Your Sunset Spot

Café del Mar is the original sunset bar in San Antonio and is legendary for its yacht like vibe and local feel. It doesn’t do the big pre parties, there’s no food real food to speak of and you won’t find flashing lights or glitzy signs. What you find is a charming, understated and beautifully designed café with great DJs. It is like the grandfather of all the spots. Other good spots that offer up a little more glitz and “new age” feel: Savannah, Kanya, and Mamba.
