Running of the Bulls- Locally known as, ''San Fermin Festiva.'' involves a dozen bulls being let loose in the city while thousands run in front of the herd through the streets of Pampalona (Santo Domingo, Town Hall Square, Mercaderas, & Estafeta) down a 826 meter path. As for the party scene, this is a day drinking event at its finest. With the event kicking off via a rocket fired off at 8 a.m., the entire city goes off the rest of the day to celebrate (bars actually shoot close at 12 a.m. as it all winds down).
